Digital Marketing Case Study 1 : Smart Digital Advertising Move by Audi

So Range Rover happens to be my favorite Car Company and it just steals my heart everytime. This time I was watching a video about Range Rover Velar ( which is so beautiful ) and I noticed the advertisement of Audi. This Audi's advertisement was stealing away all the attention of mine ( a viewer of Range Rover and possibly a prospective customer ).

This is the tactic played by focused marketers as they understand their market / audience segment very well and they ruthlessly try to steal away attention of theirs prospective customers. Indeed Digital Advertisements have made it easier to achieve it and thanks to Google Adwords, Audi managed to capture the attention of Range Rover's Customer.

Where are you going to implement this strategy?

When boss of the bosses leaves ~ My First Job - Shikshantar

Shikshantar was my first full-time job and I truly loved it. Being one of the best schools of Gurgaon, it had some of the finest teachers, staff members with whom I worked closely and also really brilliant students. I worked there for 14 months and every single day had its set of challenges, learnings and each of them has now become a great memory which I deeply cherish.

I had 4 lady bosses ( 1 reporting one and 3 department heads ) and all of them were equally brilliant and perfectionist.

When the boss of the bosses was leaving the Shikshantar due to her medical conditions, it was emotional moment for all and we had great farewell party for her. Everyone spoke something nice about her ( doesn't matter how much they suffered from her chase for seeking perfection in everything she touched ).

So here is what  i wrote for her:
When I was new in Shikshantar , I was really really nervous but she was so supportive that I picked up quite rapidly .
She is a perfectionist and it was very inspiring to work with her .
An elder sister gets mad on her lil brother , but deep down she loves him , cares about him .
The same way , She wasn't just a boss , I found myself an elder sister in her .

In Shikshantar we address every fellow coworker as Didi or bhaiya which forms really solid bond among each other.

Year of Consolidation

At times, you just have to decide what you want from your life. You have to get your priorities straight, you have to identify what are the things which are worth doing and what all are not.
Over the years, I have occupied myself with a ton of things, thanks to my nature of exploration and wide range of interests. This is the time when I am consolidating everything. All interests, all explorations converge to focus on a few selected things I really want from my life.
Everyone has some parameters / matrices according to which they gauge their effectiveness, their self-worth, their achievements, their success. I have defined a few for myself which I am extremely keen to limit and focus on.

At times, you just have to take decisions to get things which you exactly want from your life, no strolling around, just focusing on things which matter!

For me, the priorities have just changed ( for good ).

I wish you all very best luck in identifies those, getting your priorities right and achieve whatever you dream of.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, he said:
Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
the result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy.’ They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life." - John Lennon.

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he recieved during a heart surgery in 1983.

From the world over, he recieved letters from his fan, one of them conveyed: "Why does God have to select you for such a bad disease?".

To this Arthur Ashe replied: The world over--50,000,000 children start playing tennis, 5,000,000 learn to play tennis, 500,000 learn profesional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach the Wimbledon, 4 to semi finals, 2 to finals. When I was the one holding the cup, I never asked god "Why me?".

And today in pain, I should not be asking GOD "why me?".

"If you want to live your life in a creative way, as an artist, you have to not look back too much. You have to be willing to take whatever you’ve done
and whoever you were and throw them away.
The more the outside world tries to reinforce an image of you, the harder it is to continue to be an artist, which is why a lot of times, artists have to
say, “Bye. I have to go. I’m going crazy and I’m getting out of here.” And they go and hibernate somewhere. Maybe later they re-emerge a little

Thoughts on Women

As an individual , women starts her journey from being a daughter, soul of a happy home , she becomes sister , a caring sister who deserves love and affection from her brothers, to a wife , who manages the new family , to a mother , who gives birth to babies , who nurtures and shapes her child , who is the first teacher of her child .
But even though she plays different roles throughout their life,  female foeticide takes place, Women faces discrimination, harassment throughout their lives.
The journey of life is long and every women goes through it .

Recently Slut Walk was organized in different parts of world to highlight the same issue .
When ever a men sees any women , is the mental image created of her in his mind is pure or is full of bad thoughts .
The purer are the thoughts , the better will be the character of that person .

There is a saying in sanskrit
यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः ।
यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफलाः क्रियाः ॥

 which means that
 ”The divine are extremely happy where women are respected ;
where they are not, all actions (projects) are fruitless.”

When you are hurting a women , you are challenging your character , the moral values taught by your mother .

Be a man, be a protector.

Why Schools should be using Ubuntu not Windows in their ICT Labs?

Ubuntu is 100% Linux (based on Unix )  which is Open Source and is the product by thousands of world class programmers contributing their code    sharing their expertise with the Linux project voluntarily    as the part of community .
Ubuntu by far is most usable user friendly Linux variant ever  . Ubuntu is based on Debian    which powers most of the Corporate Servers . It contains over 20  000 Software Packages available for being installed .
Unix / Windows being proprietary hampers growth of programmers as they can never have complete control over the machine / can never know how things work deep inside the OS. Linux on other hand allows users to customize it the way they want being open source it allows users to look into the code  modify the code and play with it .
Having made source code of an operating system available to 6th graders is like allowing them to do open heart surgery. The more they will experiment with it    the better understanding they will have about  “How & Whys”  of functioning of either of them  .
Linux is relevant everywhere    be it Mobile devices ( Android is powered by Linux Kernel )    Computers in Homes    Industries   Government Offices .
Linux is powering thousands of Servers of Google    Facebook    Twitter and majority of  Fortune 500 Companies . Companies like Oracle    Google    Facebook also openly supports  and contributes to Linux Project .
Linux supports all major programming  languages like Java    C    C++    PHP    etc .
Windows usage is ever declining ( Domestic & Industrial ) because of its long list of Demerits : Security Flaws    Bad performance over time    less control over machine    to name a few .
Linux is supported by million users strong community    Corporations like Canonical which is behind Ubuntu    Edubuntu    Kbuntu    RedHat which is behind Fedora    Red Hat Linux which powers servers of majority Fortune 500 companies .
To be part of Open Source Community    Linux happens to be prerequisite as it’s first step in the ladder. Linux being World’s largest Open Source project powering millions of machines ( Desktops / Servers ) worldwide.
Every year Google conducts its programming event called “ Google Code-Jam” for international school students in which 100% participating organizations are Open Source Based. Students work on project with any organization they like . Google rewards them after successful completion of project .
All Supercomputers in entire world are using Linux as their primary OS [6]
Beside that majority of Departments of US government switched to Linux    Fortune  500 companies like Oracle are using Linux for its security    stability & performance .
Linux / *nix is included in Engineering / Any Computer Science Courses in every University around the Globe .
We at Schools are building futuristic children    who can explore the world and gets their hand on latest technologies available in IT domain . The sooner the children will start using linux    the better  they will get overtime .
As Schools is going Open Source   Students will  have access to knowledge about technologies working behind Servers / Mobile Phones / Any Computing Device or which they are using .

The greatness within

Story of various frogs who wanted to climb a tree but failed. There were a few more and they didn’t gather the courage to climb because they heard others failing and how difficult it was to climb the tree. But there was this frog, who relentlessly tried over and over and eventually climbed the tree. The frog was deaf and didn’t hear any of the fellow frogs. Therefore, be a frog which doesn’t hear any distraction , doesn’t see any distraction. be blind and deaf to all your troubles. Keep on fighting. Never take a NO.
- Take on highest responsibility of your organisation.
Attack your enemies without telling anything, attack without any information, surprise your enemies. If you have really to, appear to be vulnerable, weak. Let your enemies play around with you.
Know every single element of your empire, your land, focus on your business / work / goal.
You don’t have to be blood relative of your idol. The relationships are formed by the feelings, shared vision. Let their great dream be your dream.
